Francis J. Brierton - Principal - Winston Oliver & Cyment
 
Frank Brierton spent 26 years in the United State Army, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer CW4 Personnel Officer, with a career culminating by serving the last 8 years, as the Deputy Chief of the Military Personnel Division, Washington Headquarters Services, for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) in the Pentagon.  There he supervised an office staffed by personnel from all four services, providing human resources support to the over 2000 military assigned to the staff of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the White House Military Office, and 20+ other activities, 1200 in Washington DC, and 800 throughout the United States and Belgium. 

 

After retiring from the military, Frank spent the next 10 years in Executive and Legal Recruiting, rising to Executive Vice President and Team Leader.  Besides maintaining his own practice, he had dual responsibility for management, supervision, training and mentoring other recruiters in the firm.  At one point the firm had over 30 recruiters in training or under management.  This resulted in significant exposure to and expertise in a multitude of other industries beyond the focus of his personal legal and executive practice.

 

Mr. Brierton has earned the respect, trust and confidence of board members and senior level executives across many industries including legal, housing, fragrance, food & beverage, IT, construction, insurance and healthcare to name a few.  Frank has reached out and has assisted hundreds of retiring military personnel enter the civilian workforce.

 

Frank joined Winston Oliver & Cyment, Inc. in January 2007 as a Principal where he is now applying his network of contacts, multi-industry exposure, practice management skills, and expertise as a seasoned recruiter and experienced trainer.

 

 Frank obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York, with dual concentrations in Operations Management and History.  He obtained his Masters degree in Ancient History of the Near East, from Vermont College of Norwich University, Montpelier Vermont.

 

Frank is a lifetime member of The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), and a member of Mensa.
